Your child’s math assessment provides a closer look at their current skills, how they approach math, and where support may be helpful. The results are then reviewed with you during the Parent Consultation to discuss the best way forward.

The Math Assessment + Parent Consultation is a paid service and includes your child’s written assessment report and tutoring plan.
Start 1-on-1 Math Tutoring
Following the Parent Consultation, your child begins 1-on-1 math tutoring based on their individual learning needs and tutoring schedule.

Figgy Math was founded by Ingeborg de Weever, an educator with more than 11 years of experience in special education, tutoring, and school-based support, along with professional training in Montessori education.
Figgy Math was created to give children ages 5–11 focused, one-on-one math support in Sint Maarten.
The goal is simple: help your child understand the math and feel more confident doing it.

Yes. Every new child, including siblings, completes a separate intake.
No. The New Intake is free to complete.
After your intake review, you’ll receive further instructions on next steps. Contact may be made if additional information is needed.
Your child completes an individualized math assessment to identify current skills, strengths, and areas that may need support. The results are then reviewed with you during the Parent Consultation, along with your child’s tutoring focus, recommended frequency, available days and times, and tutoring rate.
Yes. You’ll receive a written assessment report outlining your child’s results and recommendations.
Tutoring frequency is based on your child’s individual learning needs and is discussed during the Parent Consultation.
Tutoring sessions are 45 minutes.
Tutoring rates are discussed during the Parent Consultation based on your child’s tutoring schedule.
Yes. Figgy Math currently offers 1-on-1 tutoring only.
