Figgy Math was founded by Ingeborg de Weever, an educator with more than 11 years of experience in special education, tutoring, and school-based support, along with professional training in Montessori education.
Figgy Math was created to give children ages 5–11 access to the level of math support they need in Sint Maarten through Math Assessment, Homework Help, Skill Lab, and Individualized Math Support.
The goal is simple: help children understand the math, build confidence, and receive support that matches their needs.

You do not have to decide that perfectly on your own. Complete the intake and describe what you are seeing. Figgy Math reviews the information and sends the appropriate next step.
Does every child need a Math Assessment?
Not necessarily. A Math Assessment may be the appropriate next step when a clearer picture of your child’s current skills and gaps is needed. Your next-step instructions are based on the intake review.
Can I book only the Math Assessment?
Yes. The Math Assessment is a stand-alone service for families who want a clearer understanding of their child’s current math skills and learning gaps. Continuing into another Figgy Math service is optional.
What is the difference between Homework Help and Skill Lab?
Homework Help supports current school math and homework in a small group of up to 3 children. Skill Lab is a focused 4-week small-group lab designed around one specific math skill or concept.
What is Individualized Math Support?
Individualized Math Support is one-on-one specialist math support built around the child’s identified needs, learning goals, pace, and approach within a structured 3-month program.
Does Individualized Math Support include homework help or test preparation?
Individualized Math Support is an intervention service, not primarily homework help or test preparation. Schoolwork may be selectively incorporated when it supports the child’s agreed-upon learning goals or helps show how learning transfers to grade-level work, but homework completion is not guaranteed.
Are all services one-on-one?
No. Math Assessment and Individualized Math Support are individual services. Homework Help and Skill Lab are small-group services.
How much do services cost?
Rates depend on the service. Pricing and enrollment details are provided with the appropriate next-step instructions.

Figgy Math serves families in Sint Maarten. Location and scheduling details are provided when the appropriate service is booked.
